Academia Media is an educational programme for anyone who wishes to understand the media, learn the fundamentals of public relations, and develop the ability to present themselves to the public independently and authentically. The aim is to do so without compromising one’s values, identity, or professional integrity.
Our courses are designed as focused, practical units consisting of three sessions. Each session lasts 1 hour and 10 minutes. The objective is clear: participants gain practical knowledge that can be applied immediately.
Teaching takes place in small groups of up to six participants. This allows for an intensive, interactive, and high-quality learning process. Individual sessions are organised only exceptionally and upon special request, for those who wish to invest in fully personalised guidance.
Academia Media is not intended solely for professionals working in the social sciences, the arts, or other fields of culture and education. The programme is also open to those engaged in traditional crafts, humanitarian work, social initiatives, and other forms of creative or civic contribution. In short, it is for anyone who wishes their work to be visible, recognised, and presented to the public in a clear and appropriate way.
Participants learn how the media operate and how the public sphere functions. They learn how to communicate their ideas clearly and convincingly. They also learn how to attract the attention of the media and the wider public without large budgets — either with no financial investment or only minimal resources. Equally important, they learn how to do so without sensationalism and without compromising their integrity.
It is particularly important to us that this knowledge remains accessible to those who create and contribute to society. For that reason, programme fees are kept reasonable for this type of education. Our aim is above all to support people working in culture, the arts, and humanitarian activities.
With Academia Media, knowledge does not remain at the level of theory. It becomes a practical tool that can be used immediately. By the end of the programme, participants leave with the confidence and the ability to present their work to the public in the best possible way.
