Learning is not delivered through dry lectures or the mere accumulation of facts. Instead, it unfolds through conversation and mentorship. Literature, music, and other forms of culture are explored creatively and engagingly, always considered within a broader social and historical context. Working in small groups allows activities to be tailored to participants’ interests.
A special part of the programme is dedicated to young people from Serbia and the diaspora who wish to gain a deeper understanding of their cultural heritage. By taking a different approach from what they are accustomed to and placing an emphasis on understanding and personal experience, culture stops being a dull school subject. The programme also includes practical cultural literacy.
